We have been really lucky through the 12 years I've been involved with the Elefante
to have had so many top acts and celebrities appear and perform there and to get fotos
taken with them .
Unfortunately , there are also many who we never got a foto of !
You know the old problem - you've never got a camera handy when you need one !
And before you say it , I'm talking about the days before camera fones were invented !
Here are a collection of fotos and videos of some of those various appearances and events
that WERE captured !
Such a fantastic bunch of guys , thoroughly professional , and top musicians .
What a catalogue of songs too !
The Grumbleweeds had been performing at the club and the late , great comedian
Charlie Williams was our guest , sitting at the front table .
It's debatable , but the night Billy performed , could easily of been our busiest night ever !
The guy is just soooo funny , and what a lovely person too !
Oh , and we enjoyed a few drinks too many after the show too !!

Dave Young , from Dublin , without a doubt the craziest , maddest comedian ever to grace our stage ! He is totally nuts !
You could never tire of watching Dave's hilarious "River Dance" finale , but you don't want to be sat at the front tables !!

Stan Boardman with Martin Goodyear , the Tom Jones tribute from London .
Both have appeared many times at the club over the years .
Stan is one of those UK comedy legends who never fails to reduce our crowds to fits of tears every time .

Jimmy Cricket .
What a class act on stage , and a true gentleman off the stage .
Along with Ted Rogers of "3 2 1" fame , Jimmy ranks as one of the nicest people I've ever met in this business .
What an excellent show !
They did the Casino in Gibraltar for me too during their stay , and knocked them dead .
Such a professional show , and 4 lovely people too .

We had a great time during their short stay , even managing to shoot up to Benidorm to
fit in 2 shows .

Frank Carson , in his 80s yet he still packs the club every time we put him on !
An absolute legend of comedy .
Frank has done the Elefante more times than any other comedian and it is always a pleasure having him here .

Jim might be blue on stage , but off stage , the perfect gentleman , such a smashing fella .
I had the pleasure of working with Jimmy many times here thankfully .
Dave Dee , from Dozy , Beaky , Mick & Titch fame , sadly no longer with us .
This is Dave performing on one of our '60s weekends .
What a superb voice he had , belting out all the big hits his band had in the '60s .
Never a dull moment in Paul's company , plus you never knew who you would be talking to once he opened his mouth !
Paul's Andy Williams vocal impression is my all time favourite , what a fantastic mimic he is .
Wayne Fontana , another top act appearing on one of our '60s weekends .
Mike D'Abo , ex lead singer with Manfred Mann , appeared on one of our '60s weekends .
This guy wrote some classic songs including "Build Me Up Buttercup" and "Handbags & Gladrags" , which he performed on the night .
John has a fantastic vocal range , and tells some great boxing stories from his time in and out of the ring .
Lee Lard , the hilarious Peter Kay tribute from England .
Such a lovely , down to earth guy off stage .
Robin & Graham from The Grumbleweeds have performed many times at the Elefante .
They never fail to deliver , with their classy , polished , side splitting comedy routines and Robin's fantastic costumes .
Hardest part of the evening is telling Graham we closed the bar !!

No , it's not Cilla Black !
It's Brenda Collins , from the North East of England , who includes a Cilla tribute in her excellent comedy show .
What a great singing voice too .
All round fantastic entertainer and lovely , lovely lady off stage .
Little and Large ?
This was one of those moments you thank your lucky stars that you have your camera sitting next to you !
This poor lad was only going to the bar to get a drink but was grabbed by Brenda who then proceeded to ad lib the most brilliant spontaneous comedy routine , with his full assistance , fair play to him .
You're a good sport mate !
Big Rik Waller worked many times for me after his chart success and his appearance on
Pop Idol , and we became good mates .
What a beautiful voice Rik has .
Koo Ka Choo , top Glam Rock band from England , performing on one of our '70s weekends .
A real powerhouse of a band .
Their bass player John , on the right , is now bassist in our resident band Revival !
Jaymz Denning , who was the last person to play the role of The Big Bopper in the
West End show "Buddy" .
He has performed his excellent Rock 'n' Roll tribute show at the Elefante many times , and is such a master at working his audience !
As you can see , rather a large fella , but has the heart and personality to match . We became good mates .
Jaymz has since toured the world in the theatre production of
"Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" .
2 of the best tributes to ever come from TV's "Stars In Their Eyes" .
Jimmy Jemain was Cliff Richard in the
Grand Final of the very first "Stars" in 1990 , and went on to star in the West End production "Cliff - The Musical" .
Jimmy IS Cliff , voice , looks , mannerisms , it's uncanny !
Bernie Wenton was the outright winner of "Stars" in 1991 as Nat King Cole , and was such a nice , loveable guy , sadly no longer with us .
Freddie Mercury tribute Gary Goodmaze , my best mate in the whole tribute scene !
Gary has been coming out to work for me now for 10 years , and is an absolute pleasure to work with .
He is the ultimate showman , doing the original Freddie proud for sure .
Terry Nash has worked for me since the very early days .
If there's a better Meatlof tribute I definitely haven't seen them yet !
With Gary Goodmaze and legendary Danish football star , Henning Jensen .
Henning is a huge music fan , and enjoys a tipple or three followed by a bit of Elvis on the Karaoke !!
We've had many an eventful evening out .
He was captain of the Danish national team for 10 years , getting 80 odd caps , while playing centre half for PSV Eindhoven , he also won the European Golden Boot twice !
George Michael tribute Andrew Browning , who has been coming over now for 10 years to work for me .
This guy is just amazing , what a voice !
Andy was the guy that George Michael used in his video for the single "As" .
Pavarotti tribute , Tony StJohn , from the North East .
To sing Pavarotti you need a good voice and believe me , Tony is awesome !
